Three Castles classic rally - N . Wales

Graham Richardson and Mike Rands finished 3rd in class after 4 days of regularities and tests competing in Graham's Ford Escort Mk1

Graham and Mike were out a week later on this HRCR anniversary event based in Stafford and using roads and venues locally including Castle Combe circuit. 5th in class this time among some more experienced competitors over 2 days of competition.

Rowena Purdy was out marshaling main time controls on this one.

White Rose Classic Rally

A round of the HRCR championship with an entry of nearly 50 cars this rally used more rally navigation, plot and bash and loads of speed changes on the regularities and included a variety of short and long stage like tests.

Pete Dalton teamed up with very experienced navvy Paul Bosdet and they were 7th o/all at the finish in Pete's Lous Cortina.                Mike Rands switched seats to drive his Ford Escort Mexico and took novice navigator Mark Ebernezersson out again for his first taste of proper navigation. all was going well until the speedo cable broke and the Brantz packed up. They dropped from 2nd in class to 5th in the end and 34th o/all.

Graham Richardson was also out on this one with Simon Perkins navigating in the Ford Ecort but withdrew during the afternoon , not sure why.
