About us
Grimsby Motor Club has been in existence since the early 1900’s and is one of the oldest motor clubs still running in the UK. The Club has a history of organising motor sport events for both motorcycles and cars although these days the Club only caters for cars.
Members compete, organise and marshal in many motor sport activities including stage and road rallying, driving tests, car trials and track days. The club also has an active social section organising visits to motoring and motor sport related events and venues.
The Club is affiliated to the Motor Sports Association which is the governing body of motor sport in the UK , and is also a member of ANEMMC (Association of North East Midland Motor Clubs) and EMAMC (East Midland Association of Motor Clubs) .
Club members meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at the Cricket Club off Tetney Lane, Holton le Clay near Grimsby from 8.30pm to 11pm. New members are welcome to come to these meetings on any week. The events diary details information about what is happening on these club nights and also lists other events of potential interest taking place in the Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire area.
